Calabrian bergamot

- A dry Earl Grey tea bag and a strip of lemon peel.
- Notice
- Earl Grey is flavoured with bergamot: that green, slightly bitter flash is how OBSESSION opens.
- 2 · First hours
Sichuan pepper
- Take
- A jar of black peppercorns, freshly cracked if you can.
- Notice
- Ignore the heat and keep the dry, electric sparkle on top. Sichuan pepper is more citrus and less burn.
- 3 · The trail
Ambroxan, amber-woody accord
- Take
- Fresh shavings from a wooden pencil, then the inside of your own wrist.
- Notice
- Dry wood plus clean warm skin: that pairing is the trail OBSESSION leaves on a shirt.
