Which men's perfume should you choose: OBSESSION or GELO?

Choose OBSESSION if you lean toward amber, wood and pepper: Calabrian bergamot, Sichuan pepper, Ambroxan and an amber-woody accord. Choose GELO if you want fruit first and smoke after: apple, blackcurrant and pineapple give way to birch and oakmoss. Both are Eau de Parfum in 50 ml, and each ships with a 2 ml sample so you can test the choice on your own skin.

    OBSESSION, for warmth and spice

    Calabrian bergamot opens it, Sichuan pepper adds the spice, and Ambroxan with an amber-woody accord forms the base.

    Apple, blackcurrant and pineapple come first. Then birch brings tar and smoke, and the fragrance stops being fruit and becomes a chypre.

How do OBSESSION and GELO differ?

OBSESSION is an amber woody spicy fragrance, GELO a fruity chypre. The first is built on bergamot, pepper and amber; the second on apple, pineapple, birch and oakmoss.

Are they Eau de Parfum or Eau de Toilette?

Both are Eau de Parfum, in a 50 ml bottle. Each order also carries a 2 ml sample of the same fragrance.

How do I choose if I have smelled neither?

Compare the notes: spice and wood point to OBSESSION, fruit and smoke to GELO. Then wear the sample, and if the seal is intact the bottle can go back within 14 days of delivery.

Can I try both in person?

A set of testers of the whole line can be ordered in Russia and the CIS, and the tasting in Moscow and St Petersburg is complimentary. In other places, the kitchen test on each page is the closest step.
